Sessions are 50 minutes long. You may reschedule or cancel your session at anytime. However, please give 24 hour notice or you will be charged half the rate of a full session.
Free Consultation:
We offer a free 15 minute consultation in person or over the phone. If we are not the right fit for you there is no obligation to have any further sessions and we will do our best to refer you to a different counsellor.
Payment:
Payment is expected at the end of the session. Payments can be made using cash, cheque, credit card, debit card or e-transfer.
Insurance:
If you have coverage for a registered counsellor, clinical counsellor, registered clinical counsellor, psychotherapist or therapist your insurance provider may cover some or all of the session fees. Please review your policy and contact your insurance provider for further details.
Clients have successfully received reimbursement for sessions fees from the following: Canada Life, Sunlife, Co-operators, Manulife, and Blue Cross.
Employee Family Assistance Programs:
Our office has practitioners who are registered with and provide services for the following EFAP programs: Lifeworks – formerly Morneau Shepell, ComPsych, Family Services and Homewood Health. Please contact your EFAP provider details.
